Once they start to flower and fruit, they soon colonize an area.Stasherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616094223215469144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8081101795597600004.post-4860827224255632202019-11-11T10:55:32.074+00:002019-11-11T10:55:32.074+00:00I don't think that I shall be able to call the...I don't think that I shall be able to call them anything other than hak macs in future.Stasherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616094223215469144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8081101795597600004.post-10461592396819781312019-11-11T07:14:26.878+00:002019-11-11T07:14:26.878+00:00Love your hak macs, they look great in those pots....Love your hak macs, they look great in those pots. They do breed roses in some lovely apricot shades.<br />I bought some cyclamen coum corms and were surprised to see they were coming into leaf already and thought it might be because they were in the greenhouse, but you've reassured me that they are ok.Hortus Baileyanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18238150695984094255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8081101795597600004.post-38735911258991370462019-11-10T12:00:14.686+00:002019-11-10T12:00:14.686+00:00That seating area looks delightfulThat seating area looks delightfulLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03928188713843255078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8081101795597600004.post-56812481884682176142019-11-09T15:38:49.442+00:002019-11-09T15:38:49.442+00:00No dead brown mushiness yet here, Jim. The acer is a standard one which is green during the year, this is its autumn colour. We are very sheltered from north and east winds on account of the large evergreen oak, and the stone wall.Stasherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616094223215469144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8081101795597600004.post-14209730009891268342019-11-09T13:49:34.589+00:002019-11-09T13:49:34.589+00:00There's nothing about your top picture that sa...There's nothing about your top picture that says autumn, even the maple looks like that's its normal leaf colour. Where's the dead brown mushiness? Hakonechloa is great in pots, especially bathed in sunlight like that. I'm going to pot a few more bits off the ones I have in the ground. The leaves get to hang right down instead of lying on the ground.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17835300203354452944noreply@blogger.com
