Arriving late in the day to In a Vase on Monday. I expect Cathy who hosts this weekly get together was bright and early.
The first small vase is in celebration of the first week in flower on the miniature Tete a tete daffodils. Having seen primroses in flower when out for a walk with Janette this afternoon along the lanes, I was happy to pick some from the garden to remind me of this.
The second little vase are of three different cyclamen coum together with stems of Hebe Silver Dollar.
I would love to share this as pleasant way to pass some time during the week. I had this link sent to me by the Galanthophile section of the Hardy Plant Society.

Ooh - your first Tete a Tete of the year, how exciting! Mine are not quite there yet although I suddenly have one 'Snow Baby' in a pot in the Coop that took me by surprise! Yours look lovely with the primroses, and the scrap of conifer is the perfect shade of green to join them. The cyclamen look lovely with the hebe too. Thanks for sharing, Noelle

DeletePretty daffodils! a wonderful sight in February! What is the foliage in with the daffs? I love the Hebe, too wish I could grow it - see it rarely around here in garden centers.
ReplyDeleteIts a small very slow growing golden tumbling conifer of some sort. I ought to try and find its name.
DeleteOh two lovely vases Noelle. I love the little daffies which to me seem to mark the procession towards spring like no other flower. I think mine may just about make into flower for St. David's Day 😄 I haven't had a chance to watch that link sent by the HPS Galanthus group yet but will do soon. I've read a lot by Val Bourne but funnily enough have never heard her speak.

DeleteBoth arrangements are lovely, although I was most drawn to the second one as I'm always perplexed as to how to properly show off Cyclamen blooms. You've shown me how!
