Fresh foliage in the garden and bluebell woods

I love green, I love leaves, shapes and patterns, even before the flowers they breath oxygen into the air, and delight me with their intricacies.

Saxifrage stolonifera

 Astilbe Chinensis var pumila

 Astrantia major Sunningdale Variegated

 Epimedium x versicolor Sulphureum

 Mauve violets

And down in some local woods, low evening sunlight.  David and I went down for our Sunday evening walk just to check out the bluebells.  The bird song too was delightful.
