Somerset Charcuterie for Saturday Lunch

Bought at Wells Market for our 'stay at home' Christmas, we enjoyed the last of our Black Pepper and Garlic salami for lunch today:

topped with a few olives which I had marinated in olive oil, with some of my home made preserved lemons, freshly cooked beetroot topped with home made mango chutney, a few leaves, and home made baked pumpkin rolls with Wookey Farm goat's cheese.

  1. Oh that bread looks lovely, assuming that's what it is as you didn't mention it but you did mention the pumpkin which I can't see... I will pass on the salami though...

    1. My Dad loved his French Salami, and he used to go 'hunting' for it when any boats with cargo from France had docked. Later we had salami from Australia. This was when I was young in Mauritius. I've corrected the post, with a link to an earlier post where I fine tuned my twisty buns. I love pumpkin and still have one large one to use. I stash baked pumpkin in the freezer, and use it often in breads.

    1. Just trying to get some lunches together, using the last dregs of the Christmas bounty. It was delicious.
